Confirmation Sunday is May 20th at the 10:30 a.m. Worship Hour. Pictured above are part of the Wesley’s Confirmation class at the Bishop’s Confirmation Celebration–that’s Bishop Bledsoe in the middle. Confirmation at Wesley is a nine month class during the Sunday school hour that features a number of field trips to a variety of churches including Temple Emanu-el in Dallas and a retreat as part of Camp Grace weekend.

At Wesley we make Confirmation Sunday a big event with an all church reception at 10:00 a.m. and the worship time to follow. You’ll want to be present to offer your prayers and support for Christ’s newest disciples.

“Oh! Jonah” is the theme for this year’s Vacation Bible School scheduled for the week of July 16-19th. Mark your calendars now and be looking for the forms at that registration desks and on-line.

“Lake Day” is just what it sounds like; our traditional day for youth at the Lake. It’s happening on May 31st so get your tan on, pack your swim suit, and be ready to break open the summer with your church friends. There will be water, sun, food, boating, skiing, and lots of fun.
